Glenn was one of the most energetic and full of life and adventure people I have ever met. Whether it was skiing with the Suffolk Skidaddlers, camping, kayaking or blowing out all the stops on marathon weekends in the woods, he had a lust for life and adventure that was a pleasure to be around.
God bless your immortal soul old friend , and may God's shine perpetual light to guide you to eternal rest.
Pete

We'd know each other since he lived in Lloyd Harbor. Glenn and I did so much together I wish he were still here to help me remember it all. One story I like to remember is when my daughter I went meet him at the old Syosset UA. It was the re-release of one of the Star Wars films and the line went round the building. I had no trouble finding Glenn. There he was on line seated in one of two beach chairs, a cooler and that grin on his face. I remember sitting with him and my daughter - every now and then stealing a glance at the people around us. They looked back at me as if to say "why hadn't I thought of that?" He laughed and talked easily. He was a willing accomplice on many an adventure. I regret losing touch with him over the years. He was my friend.

I have known Glen for over 20 years, primarily through the Garden City Ski Club, where I was president for many years, but also as a fixture at my and my brother’s annual pizza party. I can truthfully say that Glen was one of a kind. Skiing off trail, through the woods at Mad River Glen and emerging wearing a spangled executioner’s hood or at a toga party at the lodge, wearing drapes with the curtain rod still in it, alla Carol Burnett, as his toga. He knew how to have fun. He also had a sweet, caring side and freely gave to his friends. Yes, Glen was one of a kind and he will be greatly missed my many.

Glenn was the real deal! He always had your back and would give you the shirt off his. We got to be best friends when we were living in California. Deep inside he was always a Huntington (Station) boy. We drove home together, cross-country, caravan style back in 1989(?). He cooked a mean chili! He, his kindness and his smile will be greatly missed. Rest in peace my friend.

I have known Glenn for two decades, though Suffolk Skidaddlers and sometimes belonging to the same gym. I will miss his good nature, friendliness, generous spirit and enthusiasm. He was the type of person who would go the extra mile for his friends. He will be sorely missed by many, including myself.
