Janet I'm very sorry to learn that Sal is no longer with us.We didn't see each other often but I did enjoy the lunch meetings that Ray Huntington organized. It was good to see you and Sal there and to reminisce about times when we were all a whole lot younger.From our conversations it was clear to me that Sal had lead a happy and productive life. My condolences to you and your family. Sadly, our little group grows smaller. Carl

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Sal. As a lamp post I appreciate all that he had done for the association. He even found the time to visit our small association in the Finger Lakes during his presidency. I still have several copies of the Captain America comic-- what a great idea -- and I also have a large copy of a picture with Captain America from our Annual convention. I hope your memories of great times shared together comfort you in this difficult time. Don (and Debby) Damick

Janet and Family, I am very saddened to learn of Sal's passing and extend my deepest sympathy. Janet, didn't we have a great time on our Appleknockers Sales Caravan trip across the state? His SAFE program with Captain America and Marvel comics was a major home run. When Sal was NYSALU president we were lucky that we not only got him but you too. Great memories of a wonderful guy.
