Obituary of John Nappi
Please share a memory of John to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Obituary
John completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama and then went on to graduate from Brooklyn Law School. He practiced law in Huntington for over 50 years. After retiring from law, John moved down to Florida, making Ft. Myers his home for over twenty years.
John was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother and cherished his family above all else. Family and friends enjoyed his fiery spirit and his hearty and infectious laugh.
John believed in the underdog, had a great passion for history and politics and was a devout reader, which provided him great insights to the world around him. He loved his sports teams and proudly wore his Alabama hat everywhere and would revel when people would say “Roll Tide!” as they passed by.
John’s hero and favorite president was Harry Truman. He admired Harry’s grit and determination and his leadership during and after WWII.
John, you gave ‘em hell and gave those who knew you so much. You will be missed.
