Dear Karen, I’m not sure if you’ll remember us, Jim and Jean Lannon, your former next-door neighbors at 51 Magna Road in Methuen, Massachusetts. I was going through some old photos a few days ago and came across one of you and Todd at what I believe was a neighborhood Christmas party. So I searched Facebook and found you. Then, I somehow stumbled upon this very sad news about Todd. Although more than 30 years have passed, we wanted to let you know how sorry we are about Todd’s passing. Todd was a great friend and a trusted colleague. I actually literally had it on my agenda to reach out to him for the past few weeks and I was just about to reach out when I discovered this tragic news. I never met his family members, about whom he spoke so lovingly, with such pride. He was literally the investor and entrepreneur whom I trusted the most. That was actually the reason I was planning to reach out to him - that I wanted to share a new business idea that I don't trust anyone else enough to share it with, whereas Todd was exceptional in that I wholeheartedly trusted him to be honest with me and keep our private affairs completely in confidence. I'm 43 and this is one of the first of my own friends to pass suddenly without expectation or warning. He was definitely taken too soon. I wish his other friends and family only the best, and a peaceful and fulfilling mourning period. Todd was a wonderful, special guy and I genuinely miss him already!

Todd was not only an outstanding student athlete but a wonderful role model for all to admire. Carol and I have always felt that Todd was more than a friend, that he was like family. We are deeply saddened by his passing butt we do have many fond memories. Our condolences and love to his family !

Todds love for family & friends was never hidden nor came 2nd to business. Heres what I know...Gods will is supreme, superseding all of our earthly desires. So in this time of sorrow know Todd's never leaving us. I've prayed for God to keep you in strength & in this time of sorrow, questions and frustrations that he keeps his angels close to all of us. Love you my brother from another mother...never forgotten! BTW he taught me a lot about lacrosse too!

Heartfelt condolences to the Spehler family. I considered Todd on of the most honest and professional people I have ever had the pleasure of working with and knowing. Being in his company, listening to his thoughts and reasoning made me a better person and definitely a wiser entrepreneur. The pride he had for his sons, and the love he had for his wife, were examples of God's love for us. No purgatory for this soul - he goes straight to heaven. Peace Be with You All.
