Vita, William, 87, of Huntington on May 20, 2017. Bill was a Marine Corps Captain, a retired Principal of Woodland Junior High School, an Usher at St. Hugh of Lincoln Church for 55 years, and a longtime coach of youth Lacrosse at all levels. He was recognized for his contributions to the sport of lacrosse with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Long Island Chapter of the US Lacrosse Hall of Fame.   Beloved husband of 60 years to Carolyn. Devoted father of William E. (Eileen), Sally Ann McNulty (Thomas), and Mark (Terry Anne). Cherished grandfather of Matthew, (Rebecca), Mollie, Keith, Neil, Dillon; Tommy (Elizabeth), Shannon; Brendan, Henry, and Cullen and dearest great grandfather of Abigail Jennifer.  Visitation Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at  M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral Mass Wednesday.  Donations in Bill’s memory can be made to the Marine Corps League Scholarship Fund, PO Box 456, Huntington, NY 11743
