Johnston, John F., 57 ,of Huntington, passed away at home on January 2, 2017. Loving husband of Cathleen Hayhurst Johnston. Adoring father of Emily Rose. Devoted son of Kathryn and the late Jack. Dear brother of Jimmy and Karyn McCallen-Kraft. He is loved and will be missed by his niece, nephews and friends. Visitation at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station on Friday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass at St Patrick’s Church, Huntington, Saturday 10:30 AM. Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Huntington. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to ALS Association, 42 Broadway, Suite 1724, New York, NY 10004.
