I am an Oakdale neighbor and friend of Crystal and Vanessa. My daughter Christina Fandaros was friends with Vanessa from IH Elementary school and OBMS where they played softball together. We are so saddened to hear this news Crystal will always be remembered by us as a warm, smiling friendly beautiful person. May your memories and love for her hold and keep you till you meet again. Our dearest and sweetest Crystal. There is not a day that I can't stop thinking of you. I thank you and God for coming into our lives. You were a true friend and surrogate our daughter, Arianna. I am truly thankful and grateful for you, your generousity, and your friendship. You were more than a friend, you, Michael and Vanessa are family and will always be. Heavens has gained a true angel. Crystal, God only knows why he took you so soon and I thank him for you being part of my life even for a short time. You were such a beautiful person inside and out. Gave me so many laughs, at times we just looked at each other and burst out with laughter until tears are flowing. You were so happy with life and your love ones. You were always talking about Michael and the kids with pride and love. Now you can look after your mom from above. My heartfelt condolences go out to Michael, Vanessa, BJ, your mom and other family members. I’ll always be here for Vanessa. You would give your last to someone in need and always had a positive outlook on things. I will have the next margarita for you and reminisce while I drink it, knowing that is what you would want me to do. You were truly full of life. You were forever planning for the next thing and updating your notes. At times I had to remind you to slow down and take time for yourself. Now you can go as fast as you want in Heaven. I hope my wonderful memories of you will help me come to terms with your passing. You will be forever in my heart. Rest in Peace Beautiful Angel.

Crystal was like a sister to me and though we lived far away from each other, she has always been very close to my heart. She was such a genuinely sweet person who's beautiful soul just lit up the room and our hearts. I will miss her so much! I never got to meet Michael but I know he was the love of her life and I'm so happy that they found each other. I am praying for Michael, Vanessa, BJ, Angela, Norma and Kenneth as this loss is so hard for them to bear. My prayers also go out to her many other family members and friends. God took our earthly angel home too soon but she will now watch over those closest to her from above, I pray that gives some peace. I love you Crystal...RIP my beautiful friend and your other "Texas Sister", until we meet again in Heaven.
