LaTourrette, James T., 84, of Huntington, on September 4, 2016. Ph.D, Professor of Physics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Beloved husband of Muriel (nee Ashe) for 61 years. Loving father of Beth (Howard) Bernstein, John (Dawn), Tom, and Joanne (Gregg) Evangelist. Cherished grandfather of Jamie, Carrie, Evan, Alex, Tyler, Peyton, Rebecca and Allie. Dear brother of Shirley Graham and brother-in-law of Joanne Ashe. Visitation Wednesday 5-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Avenue, Huntington Station. Funeral Mass Thursday 9:45 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Huntington. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to: www.pancan.org or www.actblue.org in James’ name would be greatly appreciated.
