Allen Joseph Staib passed peacefully at the age of 82 on June 8th surrounded by his loving family in his home in Centerport, NY. Beloved husband of Edie for 55 years, devoted father of Kathy Staib Cox (Timothy), Tom (Jean), and Andy (Margaret). Loving grandfather to TJ, Brian, Carly, Jenny, Hannah, Hope, and Lilly Jo. Adored son of the late Arthur and Mae Staib, and beloved brother of the late Audrey and Arthur Jr. Proud retired Captain of the Marine Corp, and 3rd-Generation Owner of DWS Printing Associates. Family will receive friends on Friday June 10th at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, Huntington NY, at 2-4, and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10am at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, Centerport. Interment at St Patrick’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Visiting Nurse Service & Hospice of Suffolk, Inc. or the American Cancer Society
