Dear Kay, Franklin,John,Chris and Diane---- Tom and I were deeply saddened to learn of Frank's death. He was such a wonderful man---full of kindness and thoughtfulness. WE treasured his friendship and he will be sorely missed. How can I ever eat a bagel again without thinking of him? He was the one who introduced bagels to our family. Yes, we ate various breads and hard rolls etc but never had a bagel till Frank rang our doorbell one Sunday morning with a bag of them for all of us. With a big smile on his face, he handed us the bag telling us to ENJOY!!!! And---we did!!! I still chuckle when I recall the "toast" he gave when Patti was getting married----reminding everyone not to mess with her for "He was her Godfather". The laughs and fun we had with you and Frank will always be remembered. I recall the parties we had at your ;house where we formed a circle and all danced and sang to "Those were the days my friend;, we thought they'd never end ________ Here's hoping that all the family will be able to find comfort in happy memories.
