As we allow my cousin Michael to be reunited with my aunt and uncle, I recognize that it is much too soon. Michael was a hard working man whose talented hands worked through the night to add beauty for others to admire. He was a good friend and enjoyed laughter and companionship. I will remember one summer week years ago when he stayed at our house. New construction was going up all around us, and he and I spent every daylight hour investigating those homes and using scraps to build Michael's well thought-out designs. We must have looked like wild children with my braid and his vibrant blue eyes and crazy curls, but a better time is hard to imagine. Rest now, for your life has not been easy, but your mark has been made.

My family and I are so deeply saddened by the passing of my dear cousin Michael. He was always special to me and was so loved by his mother, Annette and father, John. I will remember many summers in Huntington and holidays with him at my grandparent's home. From the time he was a little boy, he was destined to work with his hands. He was truly a master at his trade. Roc Center will truly miss him. May God bless him and reunite him with his mom and dad. All my love, Rosemary and family
