Andrea, Frank A.D. Jr., 89, of Cold Spring Harbor, formerly of Old Brookville and Manhasset, passed away March 5, 2016 with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Mary Louise “Weezy” of 61 years. Loving father of Frank III “Tim” (Donna), John (Joanne), Gregory (Michele), Douglas (Jill) and Kyle (Gabriel). Cherished grandfather of 16 wonderful grandchildren and 4 beautiful great-granddaughters. Dear brother of Camille Casling and Phyllis Falino. He was the Chairman and President of Andrea Radio Corp. for 33 years and the son of Frank A.D. Andrea Sr., who was a pioneer in the invention and manufacturing of radio and T.V.. Frank Sr., worked with Gugliemo Marconi in the invention of the present day radio. Frank Jr. was also a lifelong equestrian who competed in the professional ranks of Open and Grand Prix jumping. In 1969 Frank and his champion jumper, Senator, were the year end U.S. Champions of the P.H.A. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral Mass Thursday 9:45 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Huntington. Interment at Holy Rood Cemetery, Andrea Mausoleum, Westbury.
