Dear Brigitte & Family: The members of the Sleiertin family generation that was born on Long Island during the 1920's and 1930's is now drawing to a close. Your family (Anne, William and Arthur) have now passed on. My sister Margaret, I, and my brother Richard will be not very far behind them -- and we'll look forward to a happy "Sleiertin get-together" in the hereafter! As you know, our families are the ONLY Sleiertin's in the WORLD! Artie, Billie and I had fun times together in Cold Spring Harbor, Edgemere, Lynbrook and Huntington during the summers when we were growing up -- as we were so close together in age and had the opportunities to visit! Our most sincere condolences and love to all of the members of the family of Artie and Marge Sleiertin -- from: Bob, Barbara (in spirit), Robert C., Stephan (in spirit), Kenneth and Diana Sleiertin + son Zachary Placidi; Margaret (Sleiertin) Stacey + daughter Susan Stacey; and Richard Sleiertin + daughter Gretchen Sleiertin.

So Sorry about the loss of Uncle Artie your Father The video was very nice Seeing Mom and Dad in it was special too Uncle Artie was always so much bigger than Dad and he was the younger brother !!
