Whelan, John “Jack” W., 72, of Huntington, on February 3, 2016. Beloved husband of Patricia Ann (nee Hayden). Loving father of Renee (Christopher) Gervasio and John “Jack” (Kelley). Cherished poppy of Anthony, Angelo & Adrian Gervasio and Marissa, Brianna, Sabrina & John “Jack” Whelan. Visitation Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral Mass Saturday 9 AM at Holy Name of Jesus Church, Woodbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to: St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital https://www.stjude.org/ in his name would be greatly appreciated.
