My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I want to thank you Pat for being the kind and gentle hearted man you always were. I remember how you laughed at everything, cried at tv commercials very easily, your love for your family. Thank you for being a part of our life. I will always make sure the boys know how much they were loved by you. may you rest in peace. May the road rise to meet you, may the wind always be at your back and until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hand.

Patrick Connolly was a kind, compassionate, generous man. His laugh was the best.
His laugh made everyone around him feel better. I love my cousin Patrick. He always wanted to help others.
Pat and Mary Hickey's house in Rockaway was devastated by Superstorm Sandy. Patrick was one of the few who showed up to help deal with the devastation that Sandy inflicted at the Hickey House on 120th Street. He did not need to be asked.
He built the deck in the backyard for Pat and Mary Hickey with minimal help and did not collect one cent for his efforts. Do you know why he completed this task? Because he had a heart of gold and because if someone helped Patrick he returned the favor more than twofold.
My daughter Elizabeth was born 8 years ago on 12308. After a long struggle, Patrick and Rosalie finally had the child they wanted so badly. Patrick created an Elizabeth Rose chair from his vast carpenter skills. It was a labor of love. It was the most thoughtful cherished gift I received as a result of the birth of my beautiful daughter Elizabeth. I love you Patrick and you were awesome! Thank You !
