O’Brien, Francis P., 87, of Huntington Station and Noyac, suddenly on January 12, 2016. Beloved husband of Margaret for 59 years. Loving father of Meg Mendelson (Rubin), Beth O’Brien-Schmidt (David Woods), Bonnie Wojcik (Robert), Bridget Kopet (Stanley), Becky Guidi (Silvio) and Kate Carey (Justin). Cherished grandfather of 19. Dear brother of Thomas, David, Kathleen Coppola and the late Rosemary Sweeney. Frank was a US Army Korean War veteran. He was one of the original members of the Huntington Camera Club for over 40 years. He loved taking photographs, playing tennis, swimming and spending time with the love of his life, Maggie Millar, and his family. Visitation Thursday 2-4:30 and 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral Mass Friday 9:30 AM at St. Hugh of Lincoln Church. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
