Obituary of Frank A. Scudieri

SCUDIERI - Frank A., 77, of Fort Salonga, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 8, 2016. Beloved companion of Rita Carino. Loving father of Frank Jr., Joanne Ahern (Bill) and the late Marie Wartley. Cherished grandfather of Cara, James and Mackenzie. Dear brother of Jim (Julianne). We celebrate and remember the life of a wonderful, caring, loving, optimistic man who never failed to have a good thing to say. Frank was a very hard-working and dedicated man who worked for Northrop-Grumman for over 50 years and a private accountant to nearly 500 friends and family members. Many will remember his selflessness, generosity, good nature, his optimism, his infectious smile, and his great curiosity and wealth of knowledge. Frank lived by the saying "always do the right thing," which he urged everyone to live by. He is loved and will be missed by many friends and extended family members. Visitation Sunday 7-9 PM and Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral Mass Tuesday 10:45 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Huntington. Interment to follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Huntington. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to a charity of your choice in Frank's name would be greatly appreciated.
