I'm so sorry for the great loss of your dear Andrew. Words cannot express the pain we feel when we lose those we love. Please take comfort in knowing that our creator, Jehovah God, has promised to end death forever and to reunite us with our loved ones (Rev. 21:4 and John 5:28, 29). Be comforted by the good memories and allow your family and friends to help you through this difficult time. Andy was a trailblazer in developing a comprehensive approach to youth services in his long tenure as Director of the Huntington Youth Bureau. His work has had a lasting impact on programs not only in Huntington, but throughout Suffolk. Those of us who were lucky enough to work in the YDA and Starshine programs have taken what we learned about the importance of prevention and went onto pursue grants and other avenues to implement similar models in other programs in the years post our YDA experiences...and there are many of us still out there passionate about its importance. We have Andy to thank for giving us our start and inspiring us all. We admired him greatly. I am sure he will be missed.

Dear Suzie, Chris and Brian, I am so sorry about your father, I wish I could be at the service. Jim and I and your Mom and Dad had some great times together. I can remember a few at the Farm that were just great. I feel terrible about not being there on Friday but, I will attend mass on the 20th and pray that your father is with the Lord.
