SLOGGATT RUSH- Dorothea, 97 of Huntington, formerly of North Merrick and Wading River, died October 7th. She and her husband, the late Arthur Hastings Sloggatt, Jr. were parents of 10 children. Carol Ann died in infancy; surviving are daughters Kathleen, Darcy Lawson, Patricia Foresto, Susan Koutsis, Peg Wallace and Constance Wolf; sons James, Michael and Peter; four stepchildren; 20 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her second husband William Rush. Visitation Friday, 2-4 and 7-9pm at MA Connell Funeral Home, Huntington Station. Funeral 11:00am Saturday at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Greenlawn. Donations to VNS Hospice Suffolk. visitingnurseservice.org
