Obituary of Nancy M. Gamberini

Nancy Marie Gamberini, 85, of Huntington Station, NY, on June 20, 2015 leaves behind the love of her life, Rudy, husband of 62 years. Loving and spirited mother of Lorraine, Steven and Rudy J. Gamberini and mother-in-law of Dr. Christopher Batt, Barbara Gamberini and Gina DellaChiesa. Nan was the dear and devoted Nonni to 5 grandchildren - Dr. Jaclyn Harden, Brian Gamberini, Dianna Batt, Nicholas Gamberini and Rudy M. Gamberini. Nancy was delighted to become a great-grandmother to Liam and Lincoln Harden and Aurelya Waka. Nan loved being with her large Italian family and life-long friends. Niece, Angelina, is her constant companion, confidante, "sister" and chef. She was a sweet and funny Nonni who would kick the ass of anyone threatening her loved ones. Nancy relished fresh air, laughing, reading, card games, volleyball and garage sales with Jo and Patti. She loved chocolate and children and feeding family and friends with Italian food. She was gregarious and charismatic and generous which drew us to her positive presence. Thank you for being part of Nancy's colorful life - she loved you all. In memory of Nancy please wear bright and colorful clothing to her memorial service.
