Billy, I am very thankful that we got to talk to each other around the holidays. I know you are now at peace, in a better place, but it still does not make it any easier to accept your passing. I will always remember the great New Years Eve parties celebrated at your Mom & Dad's house in Flushing. You were always concerned with my parents well being and that meant the world to them. I am so glad my son got to know you, & play golf with you, & my Dad. My son also loved you & thought you were hysterical. I will never forget over 25 years ago, after my divorce, when I was down and out, you would call & visit me, and always made me feel better. Well Cuz, I am sure right about now, you are doing one of your comedy stand up routines up in heaven, & getting a standing ovation.Your kindness & sense of humor were like no other. I love you, & will miss you, but we will meet again. Until then. Rest In Peace. To Bill Brino's family:
Bill was a shining light that lit up the darkness in the world. He was a wonderful human being and the way he lived his life is an example all of the rest of us should follow. I will miss his cheerful voice and wonderful smile. May he rest in peace and God comfort his family.

Dear B, you were one of the strongest people I ever knew. Today I made phone calls to family and friends to tell them about your passing. As I was saying the words I felt like it was a bad dream. It was one of the saddest days of my life and everyone else. The wonderful memories people have of you was so heart warming.people cried and said how loving and forgiving you were, and how. Much you will be missed.i will always remember how wonderful we grew up together, and all the fun and good times we had. No matter what ,we knew what we meant to each other, and I will always have that. I know you went right up to heaven, as it should be. May you rest in peace, and God bless you. You are with all the wonderful family who love you and I'm sure were there to help you over. Be happy, and well again.. We will miss you very much and never forget you. You have touched many people and will always be remembered for who you were and your big heart. God bless you.. Your loving Sister.

Billy, I'm so glad we had a chance to talk several weeks ago. I'll always remember how you never forgot my mother and father my brother and myself. You would always call holidays and other times to see how we were. And how we would reminisce about 1955 and that great vacation with our families in Lake George. Oh and how could I forget your incredible sense of humor. As painful as it is knowing that you are no longer among us in the physical world I feel peace knowing that you are now in a wonderful place with the Lord free of pain and worry and of course with your family. Please keep an eye on my mom and dad for me. I love you Billy, I miss you.

We have all lost a part of us with Bill's passing. He was the heart and soul of the 13th. His "opening remarks" at our reunions always got things going in the right direction. His wealth of knowledge about EVERYONE at the 13th always had everyone in stitches. I don't think J.Edgar knew more about his people than Bill knew about each and everyone of us......with a story to tell which we may not all have wanted to be made public, but the statute of limitations have run out. He will be missed.
