Carey, Mary F., of West Hills, went home to the Lord on July 19, 2012. Born October 9, 1915. Beloved wife of the late Edward Charles. Loving mother of Richard (Lillian), Maureen (the late Anthony) Grech, Cynthia (Gary) Stormack, the late Mary and the late Douglas. Cherished grandmother of Christopher (Danielle), Melissa and Kevin Carey; Meredith (Bjorn Wiede), Lindsay (Michael Poole) and Brendan Grech. Five grand-puppies. Adored great-grandmother of Christian Ryan Carey. Retired Baby Nurse, longtime member of St. Hugh's RCC, Legion of Mary, Rosary Society, Special Ed Religion Teacher. Supporter of AHRC. Mary made everyone feel special- Heaven got our special angel. Reposing at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass at St. Hugh's RC Church on Monday at 10:30 AM. Interment at L.I. National Cemetery.
