ANTONINO - Ronald A., P.E. after a brief, brave fight with cancer on February 22, 2012. Beloved husband of Jean (nee Zarifis). Cherished father of Stacey (Mike). Loving son of the late Carmella and Carlo. Dear brother of the late Grace and Albert and treasured son-in-law of the late Ann. He will be missed by many relatives and friends. Ron, born in Brooklyn, NY on February 2, 1936, was a proud veteran of the Korean War. He worked as a civil engineer and a technical writer. He spent 12 years as a freelance writer and photographer and later worked for the State Department of Transportation and Haks Engineers. Visiting Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at M.A. Connell Funeral Home Inc., 934 New York Avenue, Huntington Station. Mass Monday 10:45 am at St. Patrick's Church, Main Street, Huntington. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation's to VNS Hospice of Suffolk OR Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation will be appreciated by the family.
