BURKE - James Patrick, 53, of Melville, on February 22, 2012, after a long and courageous battle with brain cancer. Jim passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his true love of 30 years Denise, precious daughter Morgan, and his adored sons Ryan and Connor. He is also survived by his parents James and Ellen Burke, sisters Ellen (Michael) Hynes, Erin (Claudio) Miro, Maura (Dan) Richholt, and his dear mother-in-law Hope Reno. His laughter will always be remembered by his many brothers-in-law, their wives, nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Avenue, Huntington Station. Funeral Mass Monday 9:30 AM at St. Elizabeth's Church, Melville. In lieu of flowers memorial donations made to Hospice Care Network, 99 Sunnyside Blvd., Woodbury, NY, 11797, would be greatly appreciated.
