JOHNSTON- John F. (Jack), 81, of Huntington, on May 26, 2011. Proud U.S. Army veteran, graduate of Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn and longtime engineer with Grumman Corp. of Bethpage. Beloved husband of Kathryn for 52 years. Devoted father of John (Cathy), James, and Karyn McCallen. Loving grandfather of Andrew, John, Emily, Ryann and Christopher. Dear brother of William (Peg), brother in-law of Thomas Myers (Mary Ann). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and loving cousins. Visitation Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral mass Tuesday 9:45 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Huntington. Interment to follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Huntington. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS) - Long Island Chapter, 40 Marcus Drive, Suite 100, Melville, NY 11747.
