HALL - John A., age 80 of Melville, passed away on November 30, 2010 after a brave battle with cancer. Retired Detective Suffolk County Police Department and formerly of NYPD. Honored Korean War Veteran. Husband of Charlotte. Loving father of Lisa Hall, Wayne (Christine) Hall and Allison (Dennis) O'Hara. Cherished grandfather of Kayla, Cassandra, Rebecca, Colin, Quinn, and Charlotte. Family and friends may visit at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, Huntington. Station on Friday 7-9 PM, Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Religious services Saturday evening. Interment Calverton National Cemetery, Monday morning. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society , P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
