Susan! Dearest God, I'm so sorry that you were taken so soon and so quickly away from your family, friends, and co-workers. I will very much miss your pulling your glasses off and gently shaking them at me to explain something, or your..."Oh, please" with a grin. I miss your flare, your words of encouragement, your hugs, your insight, your teamwork and charisma...no nurse I know could rock those glasses, "yankee" accent, and exquisite jewelry all the while cleaning up a bedside mess!! We had lots of good times, over lots of smelly things! YES!! We were finally breaking you in to our Valley way, with the exception of saying "Y'all" You would just take those glasses off, squint your eyes closed and chuckle while saying, "Oh my gosh, that is just not going to happen"...You taught me what Devil Dogs were! You were like, "What? Are you kidding, that you don't know what a devil dog is?? Well...next time I go to New York, I'll bring some with me"! You did....They were awesome!!! (I accidentally called them dingle dogs, but only once!!! LOL) You also made the most wonderful desserts in the world!! One of the best things I loved was listening to you talk about your girls and how wonderful they are. You're eyes just sparkled when you spoke of your family. I'm so blessed to have had you in my life and I will forever remember that spunky little Yankee that just loved, laughed, and lived out loud! You're so missed, Susan. I love you dearly and I will pray hard for God to embrace your family with love, comfort, and healing.
Until we meet again.....

Miss the whole family, since their move to Virginia, but cannot imagine this loss. Will always remember how much she loved and cared for the backyard birds. My deepest sympathies to Randy and daughters, and to Susan's parents.
