DOHERTY - Joseph V., 82, onOctober 2, 2010, formerly of Greenlawn, N.Y. and Bradenton, Fl.. Beloved husband of Florence, (predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Mae Doherty). Loving father of Kenneth (Pat), Eileen Reddy (Leo), Richard (Donna) and Joe (Nina). Adoring grandfather of John, Brenna, Meghan,Patrick, Mark, Matthew, Kevin and Brian. Devoted brother of Peggy Vernaglia. Reposing at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station, Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian burial at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Centerport, Saturday 10 AM. Interment at Cemetery of the Holy Rood, Westbury.
