BRENNAN- John Joseph, 95, of Melville, on January 9, 2010. Retired Detective NYPD. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Mary. Cherished father of Eileen (Peter) Engelhardt, John (Diane), Rosemary (John) Barfuss, Michael and William (June). Loving grandfather of Brian, Megan, Heather, Erin, Katie, Kristin, Faye, Sean, Jaclyn and Connor. Visiting Tuesday 7-9pm and Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9pm at the M.A. Connell Funeral Home 934 New York Ave. Huntington Station. Mass Thursday 9:30am St. Elizabeth's RC Church Melville. Burial Mt. St. Mary Cemetery Flushing, NY. In lieu of flowers donations to Visiting Nurse Service & Hospice of Suffolk, Inc. 505 Main St. Northport NY, 11768 will be appreciated.
