ROSSI - Frank J., 71 , of Melville and South Jamesport, on October 19, 2009. Retired after 35 years of teaching and coaching at Lindenhurst High School. Founder of Lindenhurst Lacrosse Program. Still actively coaching high school lacrosse and football. Beloved husband of the late Francine. Cherished father of Chip (Christina) Rossi, Timothy Rossi and Courtney (Greg) Macchia. Devoted grandfather of Connor, Caitlin and Cameron Rossi, and Braeden Macchia. Loving brother of Kathleen Renz. Visiting Wednesday 79pm and Thursday 24 and 79pm at the M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Mass Friday 9:30am St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church, Melville, NY. Private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to: Fire Island Lighthouse Preservation Society, FILPS, 4640 Captree Island, Captree Island, NY 11702 or Pancreatic Cancer Research, www.curepc.org, would be greatly appreciated.
