Angela was my college roommate. She was one of the most hard working, loyal, and courageous women I have ever had the privilege to know. She was so tough on the outside and the most COMPASSIONATE, KIND, LOVING, AND TENDER person on the inside. All of us at Siena had so much fun and I like to think that, for that brief moment in time, we gave her some of the funniest, carefree memories of her life. I will always remember watching Thornbirds with her (she was hysterically crying at the end and yelling at me for laughing at her), getting ready for the spring 92 formal (and her passing out before we went on jungle juice), the cruise (and her wonder woman wrist bands), giving me advice about my man problems (all the while calling me a moron), the car accident in jill's car, the stripper at SAGA, TGI Friday's, ESPO love, and her BIG hair. We are so lucky to have reconnected in Feb 2008 and tell her how much she meant to us. Even though she suffered tremendously, she had more faith, fortitude, courage, and strength than all of us put together. I will never forget her example, no matter what happens in my life...I will always think.. if she withstood her battle with cancer with such dignity than I can do this. She told me that anyone given her situation would do the same...I beg to differ, Angela, you were one in a million. A real woman in every sense of the word. I know that I will see you again and the first thing you will say when I enter St. Peter's gates is, "I can't believe you made it in, Liverani, you big moron!" Until then, we will never forget little Jenna and Danny and do our best that Jenna knows how spectacular her mom was. Have fun with your mom, until we meet again, my dear friend....
