DONALDSON - Sophie C., of Huntington on May 8, 2015. Joined her beloved husband James C. Jr., parents Peter and Madeleine, her sister Eva and brother Nicholas. Devoted mother of Catherine (Paul) Roberts, Christine (David) Boccia, Carolyn (Michael) Feuer and Craig (Melissa). Cherished grandmother of Stephen, Aley, Elizabeth, Abigail, Charles, Michael and Alex. Survived by her loving sister and brother Monique (Peter) Koehler and Christopher (Ann) Sfakianos, sister-in-law Tomasina Sfakianos, a large extended family and her faithful companion, Missy. She spent much of her life giving to charity, contributing both her time and resources to numerous worthy causes and organizations. Principal among these were the American Cancer Society , the American Heart Association and the Arthritis Foundation. Visitation M.A. Connell Funeral Home Inc., 934 New York Avenue, Huntington Station Saturday 5 to 8 PM and Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Religious Service will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Francis Oncology Unit or the American Cancer
Society in her memory will be appreciated by the family.
