DYCKES - Robert A., 91, of Huntington, on January 3, 2015. A Proud WW II Veteran. Robert was responsible for building over 3,000 homes under the development name of New England Village. He was also an usher at St. Patrick's Church for over 30 years. Beloved husband of Jacqueline. Loving father of Amy (David) Dyckes-Rutledge, Carolyn (Chris) Nolte, Paul (Jeanne), Diana, Douglas (Dian), Micheline (John) Worth and Marybeth. Cherished grandfather of 15 and great-grandfather of 1. Dear brother of Ira Dyckes. Visitation Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, 9:45 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Huntington.
