MICHTA - Violet M., 89, of Huntington Station, on November 9, 2014. She was a professed 3rd Order Carmelite. She was a member of the Legion of Mary. For 8 years she was in an adult discussion group under Fr. Uris, Moderator. She attended all night vigils for 1st Saturday, for many years at different parishes. She attended the Adoration weekly at St. Elizabeth's Church since its inception. Beloved wife of John for 66 years. Loving mother of Richard (Beverly). Predeceased by her son Steven and his wife Dorothy and her son Ronald. Cherished grandmother of Everic, Richard Jr., Jeffrey, Wenona, Stephanie and the late Angie. Devoted great grandmother of 4. Visitation Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral Mass Friday 9:30 at St. Hugh's Church, Huntington Station. www.maconnellfuneralhome.com
