Marchinek, Alice, 85, of Huntington, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2014. Beloved wife of the late George. Loving mother of George D., Robert (Colleen) and Linda Bachsmith (Bill). Cherished grandmother of George, Brittany, Alyssa, Corey, Sean, Grace, Heather and Clint. Dear sister of Sophie Jaworski, the late Chester Mechkowski, Steffie Dzwill, Terry Zdrojeski and Celia Blihar-Muzante and the late Florence Creen. Visitation Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral Mass Monday 9:30 at St. Hugh's Church, Huntington Station.
