CURCIO - Joseph R., 89, of Huntington, on October 6, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Florence. Loving father of Maria Bishop (Robert), Christine Smith (the late Cass), Gina Grady (Philip) and Jo Ann Curcio. Cherished grandfather of Serah, Buddy, Joseph, Stephen, Christopher and Caitlin. Dear great-grandfather of Ryan and Kira. Die Hard Met Fan as well as a Proud Army Veteran, Prisoner of War and recipient of The Purple Heart. He is loved and will be missed by many family members and friends. Visitation Wednesday 7-9 PM and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral Mass Friday 10:45 AM at St. Patricks' Church, Huntington. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to: Project Purple-Pancreatic Cancer Research or The Huntington Lions Club, in Joseph's name would be greatly appreciated.
