He was a wonderful and loving man. He was such a caring man. He offered to counsel me at a time I was having personal problems. He was such a good listener. He will be sadly missed. May he rest in peace. Thank you so much for taking the time out of your life to help me.

St. Mary Adoration Chapel in Ridgefield, CT (established June 5, 1994, Corpus Christi Sunday) would not be the success it is today had it not been for Fr. Bob Morrissey's dedicated foresight, direction and support. He was a loved and respected Pastor that had a sense of humor, fairness and was always willing to help anyone that was in need of help. He did many wonderful things for others that were never realized by the general public. If it had not been for Fr. Bob's early on encouragement, we could not have sustained ourselves for these past 20 years. God bless him and may God welcome him home. Thank you, Fr. Bob, for being a part of our lives. I miss your authenticity and your presence. I miss your special homilies. Father Bob, you were so caring and supportive to me during a difficult time and got me to laugh so many times. I saw your heart for the Church and your devotion to Mary. I’ve not met a more genuine Priest since you. I hope you and Ignatius are having a great time in Heaven. You left this Earth too soon. I am grateful for your life with us. You left Ridgefield with the sweet Adoration Chapel, and the School.

December 8, 1995 - we were re-married by Fr. Morrissey in St. Mary's Church on the very steps that held the casket in June of 1995 that my son Michael was laid to rest. The Feast of the Immaculate Conception -we had a full Mass with Father Morrissey as the Celebrant and our son David present as the two witnesses friends Lois and Jean. What a very special moment . We gave Father a large photo of a Laughing Jesus which we all signed on the back side and he placed it in the Confession room where it is to this very day. Rest now Father in the peace of God.
