As we all mourn the loss our our beloved cousin, John, we remember all the wonderful and fun times we shared!!!! It didn't matter who's house we were at and what holiday or celebration we shared, we knew John was always there sharing in all of the fun with us!!!! He always had many kind words to say with that great smile that made us all happy!!!! Years ago, I had personally baked a cake and brought it to their Locust Valley house for everyone to share. As he stuffed his mouth with that second piece, he asked who made it. I proudly told him I made it along with cake flowing out of his mouth with his reply, "This is the best cake ever!" Always happy and always so positive!!!! Today I'm going to bake a cake in John's honor hoping this one will compare!!! We will forever miss you, sweet John and keep eating more cake!!!! Oh, I promise to stop growing as that was alway a question he asked me....."when will you stop growing?" You could always count on John to make any occasion better because he always brought a smile with him. The world is a little more somber without you in it. But we will all take with us that awesome smile and presence you had. RIP Cousin, John Love, Marcia, Bill and Emily Z.
