I am the most fortunate of individuals, because I was, am, and shall always be the son of this incredible, gentle, faithfilled, and loving woman. In every way... it is she who has been the rock solid strength, while at the same time, being the gentle heart and soul of our family. In my lifetime, I have met everyone from Mother Teresa to convicted criminals and eveyone in between which is my pont. But of all the wonderful, beautiful people I have met, I have never met anyone who gave so much.....and asked for so very little in return. Theres none better than you mom...simply none. Enjoy your well deserved reward in Heaven...I 'll hold fast to your gentle Spirit throughout my life...till I see you again. Love you, forever, your most grateful son, Rick.

Dear Patty, Alison, Rick & "Jay", I am sorry to hear about your mother's passing, she was a wonderful woman & I have very fond memories of the old days in the Folk Group, your parents' loving relationship, & many childhood Foxwood memories. Your mom was always very sweet & kind to my son, and to my sister Dot in her final years. My thoughts are with you & your family at this sad time .... My mother & I will be with you in spirit, as she is too frail to come to the services. Dear Rick and Family, Today I received word that your mom had passed. I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom and dad were always very special people to me, especially in my faith formation and seeing a couple so genuinely in love. I think of your family often and always pray for you when I do. I am sorry that time has separated us and I only wish I could be there for you now. Unfortunately I am heading to NC to take care of my parents for the next few weeks.
