Richard J. HEGLER
HEGLER - Richard J., 80, of Huntington Bay, on December 23, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Lillian. Loving father of Michael (Laura), Jean (Timothy Pillion), and Richard (Julia). Cherished grandfather of Danielle, Eric, Jonathan, Christopher, Alexander, Amanda and Cole. Dear brother of Lynn Saunders and the late Kenneth (Evelyn) Hegler. He is so loved. He always made us laugh with his quick Austrian wit, he loved his grandchildren beyond compare, was so proud of his family and enjoyed life to the fullest. He will also be missed by many beloved nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral Mass Friday 9:45 AM at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Centerport. Interment to follow at Cemetery of the Holy Rood, Westbury.
