Gumbs, Virginia E., 83, of Huntington Station, on November 22, 2012. Direct descendant of the Montauket/ Shinnecock Nation. Member of the Columbiettes for decades and of the Huntington Park Seniors Group. Beloved wife of the late Rudy Sr.. Loving mother of Rudy Jr. and Cheryl (and her partner Doris). She is loved and will be missed by her extended family and friends. Visitation at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station on Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9PM. A service will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
