I think of Mrs. Alfieri every year on her birthday, one day after mine. I decided to Google her today and I'm sad to learn of her passing. She was my second-grade teacher at TJL forever ago, but I will never forget her. I always picture her with her exaggerated "frown" when she was thinking about something. I still make that face today and she always comes to mind. She was truly a wonderful woman.

I so enjoyed working with Mackie. I picture her for many years as a wonderful and giving 3rd grade teacher. Whatever a child needed, he/she got. she was a "class act."

Dom and Family: There's an empty space in the heart of Sun City as our Dear Friend Mackey is not here with us. We'll forever have our wonderful memories of the most cariing, gracious and beautiful women that she was. Heaven became a more beautiful place because Mackey is there. To the entire family and friends that we all know and love, Mackey was a shinning star of love and kindness and such an example of true grace. She always made me feel warm and loved as I know she did for many of you. My only light in all of this is knowing that she has gone forth to greet us at the gates of heaven and to welcome all of us in the way she did in life. I hope everyone can find some light in this situation. She will be greatly missed. Love to you all!

Dom, Chris, Patrice, Maria and the entire Alfieri family: there are so many beautiful and joyful memories I have with Mackey and your family - too many to count.
