Loving father of Paulist Father John Hurley and Patty Ann McGovern and her husband David. Devoted grandfather of David Jr. (Kelly), Christopher (Catherine) and Michael. Cherished great-grand-father of Matthew, Thomas, Ryan and Ashley McGovern. Dear brother of Alice Simon. Visitation M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station, Saturday and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass Monday 10:45 am at St. Elizabeth's Church, Melville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Paulist Memorial Fund, 3015 Fourth Street N.E., Washington D.C. 20017.
