Servinskas, John Joseph Jr., 74, of Melville, on November 15, 2017. Beloved husband of Diana. Loving father of Matthew, Karen Ungania (Dario), Scott and John Joseph, III. Cherished grandfather of Christopher and Jonathan. Dear brother of Carolyn Adams, Paul (Joan) and Henry (Roy Du Bois) and special uncle to many nieces and nephews. John was a Director with Verizon in Manhattan, with almost 40 years of service. After he retired, he enjoyed being a Eucharistic Minister at Huntington Hospital and a Choir Member of St. Elizabeth’s Church. A 15-year cancer survivor, John found his volunteer work with The Leukemia Lymphoma Society to be especially rewarding.Visitation Friday, November 17, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station, 11746. Funeral Mass Saturday, November 18, 9 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, Melville. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in John’s name may be made to The Leukemia Lymphoma Society, Long Island Chapter, www.lls.org/long-island or to the VNS Hospice House of East Northport.
