Gregor William Beyer, 88
Gregor “Greg” Beyer of Huntington Station, New York, passed in peace, Monday, August 14, 2017 at the age of 88. Preceded in death by his wife, Jean Beyer. Loving father of Lauren Morra, Gregor Beyer Jr., Jack Beyer and Kurt Beyer; proud grandfather of Alexa Beyer, Megan Beyer, Molly Beyer, Jesse Morra, Bridget Beyer, Jake Beyer, Michael Morra and Kennedy Beyer.
Greg was born January 14, 1929 in Germany to William and Marie Beyer, migrating to Huntington, NY at age 2. He graduated from Huntington High School in 1946. On October 21, 1951, he married Jean in Huntington.
Greg will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving husband and father, master carpenter, Yankee fan and US Navy veteran.
Services will be held from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Thursday August 17 at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington, NY 11743. Funeral mass will be held at 10:45 am on Friday August 18 at St. Mathews Church 35 N Service Rd, Dix Hills, NY 11746. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery, Amityville.
