Lillian Macchiarella Obituary

July 31, 1926 - June 4, 2026

Lillian Macchiarella was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, friend and neighbor.

She was just shy of 100 years old, leaving behind a life filled with faith, service, love and devotion to family and friends.

During WWII she worked as a riveter at Republic Aviation, proudly contributing to the war effort with strength and determination. In the early 1950’s Lillian joined the Catholic Daughters and remained an active and dedicated member for many years. Her involvement brought her great joy and she formed lasting friendships through this organization, even participating on its bowling team. Lillian was an excellent seamstress, skillfully sewing much of her own clothing as well as beautiful clothes for her daughter Terry. She was wonderful in the kitchen preparing meals and desserts that were enjoyed by many. She was known for her pot roast, pepper steak, and her sour cream coffee cake but best known for the warmth and love she shared so freely.

A devout Catholic throughout her entire life, her faith was the foundation of all she did. Lillian lived with kindness, humility and generosity, setting an example for everyone she knew. Her home was always a welcoming place where family, friends, young and old alike, would gather to enjoy her hospitality and caring spirit. Although her daughter, Terry, was an only child, her household was always bustling.

She is survived by her daughter, Terry Boccard, granddaughter, Victoria Brock (Jason) great grandchildren, Dylan & Olivia Brock. She is lovingly reunited with her husband, Michael, and her son‑in‑law, Robert Boccard, who predeceased her. She will be remembered for her deep faith, hard working nature, generous heart, and the loving home she created for so many.
