Francis Raphael Kelly IV passed away at home on May 4, 2026, at the age of 73.

Born on December 8, 1952, to Francis and Muriel Kelly, Francis grew up alongside his five siblings—Kevin, Kathleen, Maureen, Eileen, and Colleen—forming lifelong bonds rooted in love, laughter, and family tradition. He attended Syosset High School before continuing his education at Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas.

After earning his bachelor’s degree, Francis began his career in the textile industry before finding his professional home at Morgan Stanley, where he spent the majority of his career in wealth management. He was respected not only for his work ethic and professionalism, but also for being sharp as a nail, and most of all for the genuine relationships he built along the way.

Francis will be remembered for his unmistakable charisma, sharp sense of style, warm kindness, and quick wit. He carried himself with a strong moral compass and brought lightness and humor to those around him. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures—playing golf and cards, working out, tending to his yard, and watching football. The beach held a special place in his heart, where he loved nothing more than boogie boarding and enjoying time by the water.

Above all, Francis was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend. His care for his family was unmatched. He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan; his son, Dillon (Sarah); and his five siblings. His presence, guidance, and love will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home in Huntington, New York. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 9:15 AM at St. Patrick’s R.C. Church in Huntington, New York.
