Mary Ann and I are cousins. We hadn’t seen each other much until a few years ago when she contacted me and asked if I wanted to get together with some other cousins for lunch. I’m so glad I did. The few times we met up we reminisced, laughed and got to know each other a little better. She had some funny stories to tell especially the one about her dentist. I’m sorry we didn’t do lunch more frequently. She will be missed especially by the children she taught and cared for.

I am glad we got to know each other a little better.

Mary Ann was my cousin. I remember her as being a successful career woman, in both of her careers. She loved children and gave much of herself both as a teacher and later in her retirement caring for little ones. She was also very generous to her niece and to my own niece, Jenn. We didn’t get to visit with each other often enough, neither as kids nor as adults, but I will miss her. You always knew when she was there. She always seemed to have a gathering around her listening to some great stories. She had some great stories ( a particular one involving her dentist comes to mind). Rest in peace Mary Ann, back in the arms of your loving parents, extended family and the Lord.

Mary Ann was my sister. Growing up she was always a caring and loving person. She was intelligent and excelled in school. She was humble and always made others a priority over herself. I will miss her but I’m sure she will have eternal peace with the Good Lord. RIP Mary Ann for a life well lived.
