George William Munch, 69, of Huntington, NY passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026 surrounded by his family. George spent so much of his life helping people, he was the person who always seemed to find some good in everyone.  He defined perseverance, discipline, and faith. George was born on October 11, 1956. His childhood was filled with many family gatherings and devotion to the Catholic faith. George carried this devotion to his faith all throughout his life. Family was everything to him, especially his wife Dina and son Richard who were the pride and joy of his life. He will be missed by all because of the impact he had on the lives of so many. Beloved husband of Dina Crisco- Munch. Loving father of Richard Munch and the late Joseph Munch. Caring son of the late George Munch and the late Eileen Munch. Beloved brother of Maryjane Braun (Kenneth). Caring son-in-law of the late Richard Crisco (Virginia) and the late Marie Crisco. Beloved brother-in-law of Denise Crisco (Teresa), Richard Crisco (Bonnie), and Kenneth Crisco. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 31, 2026, from 2:00 pm- 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm- 9:00 pm at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Avenue, Huntington Station, New York. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the Church of St. Patrick, 400 West Main Street, Huntington, New York, followed by interment at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, 45 Huntington Road, Huntington, New York.
