Annie Beatrice Adams was born in Albany, Georgia on December 26, 1953 to Albert and Bernice Hall. Annie moved to NY as a preteen and attended church (Community Baptist Church) with her family. Annie was baptized in her early age and rebaptized in her later years. Annie attended high school in Wyandanch, NY. She graduated from Wyandanch Memorial High School in 1971. After graduating Annie went on to become a Nurse Assistant.

As a teen, Annie fell in love with Steven Reid Sr. In their union together, two children were conceived, Jeanine Reid in 1970 and Steven Reid Jr in 1972. After Annie and Steven separated, a few years later Annie married Albert Adams, and a child, Sharon Adams “Smith” was born in 1974. Annie and Albert separated after being married for some time and she met Luther Roberts some years later. Their union produced Erick Adams in 1977. After Luther and Annies’ relationship ended she then met the love of her life David Andrew. In 1981 David Andrew was born, followed by Michael Adams in 1982.

Annie was a cherished daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met. Annie grew up surrounded by family and community, developing a strong sense of compassion and faith that guided her throughout her life. She devoted herself to supporting and uplifting those around her, always offering a listening ear and a gentle smile, and a laugh that was contagious.

Annie's legacy is one of love, generosity, and unwavering faith. Her strength in times of adversity inspired others, and her joyful spirit brought comfort and happiness to all who knew her. As we gather to celebrate her life, we remember not only the milestones she achieved but also the countless lives she touched with her grace and kindness.

Annie went home to be with the Lord on 2/28/26 at Good Sam Hospital in West Islip, NY. Annie is survived by 5 Children – Steven Reid Jr of West Babylon NY, Sharon Adams Smith (Juan Smith) of Wyandanch NY, Erick Adams (Djenane Adams) of Coram NY, David Andrews (Nora Andrews) of Jacksonville FL, and Michael Adams of West Babylon NY. 2 Sisters – Georgeann Gayle (Desmond Gayle), NC and Patricia Smith (David Smith), PA. 1 Brother – Edward Hall, NY. 1 Aunt – Lucy Clemons (Raf Clemons), NY. 16 Grandchildren along with 6 Great grandchildren. 2 God daughters – Donna Watkins and Doris Jones, along with a host of cousins, family, and friends.

Annie was preceded by her daughter, Jeanine Johnson. Her Mother, Bernice Henderson and her Father Albert Hall. Her 3 Brother’s, Albert Hall, Alfonzo Hall, and Willie Henderson
